General Comments About the Boat:

** URGENT SALE ** OWNER WANTS BOAT SOLD!
Built by the legendary Burmester shipyard in Bremen, this vessel was originally used by the German Navy as a customs patrol ship, and kept on constant emergency alert with powerful 1050hp Klockner-Humbold-Deutz (KHD) Motorswork diesel engines attaining a maximum speed of 21 knots. This is now a project boat and is for sale AS IS. The vessel needs a new owner\'s enthusiasm to take over the refit where the previous owner left off. The hull and deck need paint. The interior cabin area and pilothouse have not been refurbished. The owners went to great expense to commission 3D designs to refit the interior as a luxurious motor yacht. They intended to have the interior work crafted in Turkey, where excellent workmanship is affordable. Unfortunately, the project was halted, and the boat remains in Italy. See the photo section for these beautiful design ideas. As the new owner, this is a great opportunity to re-design the interior cabin space to your own taste. Serious offers wanted!

2006 REFIT:
In 2006 the vessel was certified to German Lloyds offshore standards, and had recently been painted at a prestigious Italian shipyard. The owner finished a great deal of technical work in this overhaul, including the following list. All work was carried out under Germanischer Lloyd for the classification of 100 A5
- painting propellers and shafts
- measured the hull plate thicknes by ultrasound method and replaced all plates necessary
- hydro-sandblasted the hull and applied one coat of A/C and two coats of A/F paint
- replaced all sea water cooling pipes in engine room with stainless steel pipes
- completely reassembled two sea water pumps in workshop and replaced two others
- dismounted the rudders/shafts and tubes, cleaned, checked and painted as needed

Other refurbishing work in progress in 2006 but never completed were:
- the crew area including the galley, toilet and washroom with shower
- the forward deck salon
- plan to reduce the pilothouse to build a second saloon on the middle deck

Accommodations & Layout:

The foredeck salon was designed by the French modern art designer \"ALUMNO\". This living space is air-conditioned and offers access to the foredeck. The pilot house is accessible from the salon or midship. The midship is protected from the weather, accommodates six people and can be utilized as a second salon with bar. The cabin space aft on the lower deck offers numerous possibilities. It could be furnished with one owner\'s cabin and two luxury guest cabins, or accommodations for up to twelve guests. You, the owner, can design your own interior cabins. Therefore this space only contains the necessary technical requirements. The rebuild of this space is not included in the sale price of this vessel. The crew quarters are located in the fore ship. It offers six berths, an adjustable table and comfortable seating. Next door is the crew washroom with shower, wash-basin and washing-machine. These quarters are equipped with air-conditioning and can be used to accommodate guests.
