The Cape Island 50 is uncommonly spacious, one of the largest 50-foot trawlers available today, thanks to her broad beam carried aft (16'6” amidships to 15'6” at the transom). This not only provides palatial living space belowdecks and a higher load carrying capacity, but also greater stability and comfort underway. No wonder the Cape Islander is the choice of more than 80% of Nova Scotia's commercial fishermen… and a growing number of savvy yachtsmen, as well.
